- Register as a Dancer for the FIRST TIME
- Click Register Button on Home Page
- Register for Dance Marathon 2008-2009
- Set your Fundraising Goal
- Fill in rest of form
- CONGRATS YOU ARE NOW REGISTERED OFFICIALLY for Dance Marathon 2008-2009!
- Sign into the NEW MY UMDM Page after registering with the “OLD” site
- Click MY UMDM on the Homepage
- Go to Login Box
- Enter your email into the “Email Address” Bar
- Enter UMDM into the password
- Click My Profile
- Adjust your information and password accordingly
- Other Dancer Uses
- Check their fundraising
- Login to My UMDM
- Click “My Events”
- Click on THE MARATHON
- Lists all current donations given on and offline
- Includes Thermometer
- Edit Profile
- Login to MY UMDM
- Click Profile
- Change all necessary attributes
- Click Update Profile
- Join a Different Event
- Login to MY UMDM
- Click My Events
- Click Register for New Events
- Click Event you would like to register for
- Fill out Form
- Select $0 for Fundraising Goal
- All fundraising should go to “THE MARATHON”

- Click Forums and use one of the forum features to share your ideas and get your questions answered
- Send out Donation Emails or Invitations to Family and Friends
- STEP 1- ADD CONTACTS TO ADDRESS BOOK
- Login to MY UMDM
- Click on Address Book
- Import Contacts
- Option to do it 1 by 1
- Option to import entire address book from email like Gmail
- STEP 2- SEND EMAILS
- In MY UMDM- Click My Events
- Click “THE MARATHON”
- Click Donations
- Click Send Donation Invitations
- Click who you would like to send the email to
- Click send
- How does someone donate to me?
- They can donate multiple ways
- Create your own URL in “The Marathon” event
- Send the URL to your friends and family
- Encourage them to go to your URL and MARATHON page, then click donate to YOU
- How do I get notifications and connect MY UMDM to Facebook, Twitter, and text message alerts
- Go to Alerts and Social Networking and it will walk you through the whole process
