I’m holding tea ceremonies at the Zen Center on Wednesdays, so I needed a big but not super expensive tray. This works perfectly. Some watermarks stay on the surface, but I like how they remind me of all the ceremonies I've already made.The first tray I received had defects, but the replacement one was in perfect condition.

The finish is nice and dark, pretty much exactly as advertised. Nothing fancy but the perfect size for 2/3 people. Super easy to clean and store. Obviously machine made so the build quality is like 7/10, couple tiny cracks here in there on the base but if you want something nicer, gotta pay more. Reckon its perfect for the price.The little pot in the photo is not full size, its a tea pet.

I ordered one last fall and it was perfectly lovely. However, recently ordered a second one for a gift, and this one had corners and edges that were not stained completely, which meant it was unsuitable as a gift. I returned it. Don't leave it in the plastic wrap as protection-- unwrap fully and check immediately!

I know draining tea trays often have bad reviews, but this one is really excellent. The workmanship is perfect, the overall quality is extremely high. I couldn’t be happier with it. It holds my tea pet, a small traditional 3-plus tea pot, 2 traditional 3-sip cups, and my small tea storage caddy. I have been using it for a while now and can highly recommend it…..it’s worth the bid cost. It was double packaged and arrived a little earlier than quoted.
