This "FF20" looper pedal and drum machine, in a mint green color (also available in orange), hails from Flamma. It's described as a stereo looper with dual footswitches, a built-in drum machine with 220 grooves and a massive 300-minute recording capacity across 100 loop slots.This pedal is fairly easy to use, especially given its extensive feature set. The 2" full-color screen is bright and clear, making it simple to see loop status, drum patterns and other settings at a glance (although I wish the screen were larger). The price point is nice, offering a lot of functionality for the cost. Having used other products from this company, the FF20 seems like a definite step up in terms of features and overall design.There are a lot of options packed into this unit. The drum grooves provide a variety of backing tracks for practice or jamming. There is plenty of time and space to capture ideas, save backing tracks or create layered compositions. Helpful performance tools like Time Stretch, which lets one adjust speed without changing pitch, and an Auto Record function add to its versatility. The inclusion of a USB port for file transfer and a headphone out for silent practice are nice practical features.For the future, if they make another iteration, a larger screen, different knob layout, more durable case, and a cleaner design would elevate this product.All in all, this is a nice affordable looper/drum machine pedal, offering a good array of options, a user-friendly interface and a nice price point, making it a solid choice. Should my opinion of its performance ever get stuck on a bad loop, a new review will be recorded in the future.
