Quest Protein Bar Birthday Cake 12-Pack

For me, these are the best protein bar when you are craving something sweet. I like it better than most candy bars and it is much more filling of course. I am on WW and it is 4 points on my Blue plan and I like to keep on hand. If you like candy corn or perhaps a confectioners sugar frosting, you may like these too.

Over the years I have tried numerous brands of protein bars and drinks. Well now I have to be even more aware of what I'm putting in my stomach after bariatric surgery. Quest brand has been the best I've ever eaten, and the flavor is true to what the wrapper says. It looks and tastes like confetti birthday cake. There is very little after taste and the 'frosting' coating around the bar doesn't leave a funky filmy feeling on the roof of your mouth. I also didn't get the gassy issue after eating one. I'm looking forward to trying another flavor, and their crisps!

I was looking for a solid protein bar because my time management skills are so poor that I really don't know how I function as an adult; I never have time for breakfast in the mornings. I also need something with fiber, because my diet is terrible from being out of the house from 8am-10pm. These checked all the boxes, and were well-reviewed on Reddit, so I picked up a variety pack.I was taken aback at the taste, and was super disappointed. The mint chocolate one was especially off-putting. But not long after, the taste not just grew on me, but I thoroughly enjoy them. The fake sweeteners threw me off-guard, and are certainly an acquired taste. The birthday cake ones are bordering on ethereal, so definitely grab those. All of them but the peanut butter ones have been amazing.All in all, fantastic meal replacement and makes hitting your macros much easier. If your body is like, "Nah, we ain't poopin' today" from your high protein diet (gains>pooping), add these in the mix with lots of water. These bars pair very well with the Neo Luxe 120 bidet (you're welcome for the plug, Luxe).

Okay, while it doesn't taste exactly like birthday cake, it's pretty good. It's also a lot better for you than actual birthday cake. Yet another great addition to the Quest Bar series.

For a protein bar, these are great. Really, I would say this is the best protein bar I've ever tasted and definitely the best Quest bar flavor I've tasted.
