Einfache Montage

This is a review of the 3 drawer version of this filing cabinet.It arrives flat-packed in a thick cardboard. The panels were cosmetically perfect – no scratches, dings or dents.There is booklet of assembly instructions. These instructions are in the form of generally reasonably clear diagrams but some are optimistic and need deciphering.There are 28 screws provided in two sizes for assembly. All the screws required a PH 2 screwdriver and that is what is provided. The screws require a degree of force to screw in very tightly. I found that the screwdriver was tiring to use and I quickly changed to a Bosch Ixo, which is a marvellous little power tool, light, compact and perfect for the job. The ultimate stability and rigidity of the cabinet depends entirely on the maximum tightness of all the screws. The panels and the pre-drilled holes all lined up perfectly and there were no issues of misalignment.Substantial screws and fixings are provided to screw the cabinet to a wall to prevent the cabinet from tipping over. I decided this was not necessary. Having used this cabinet for a while with all drawers full it has not overbalanced or tilted whatsoever.Be aware that genuinely office quality filing cabinets are normally based around a welded carcass and are constructed from much heavier gauge steel than this one.When assembled the filing cabinet is reasonably sturdy and reasonably rigid, good enough for home use. It is made of light gauge steel which is not inherently rigid. I do not imagine that this cabinet would long survive the rigours of continual daily use and abuse in a busy office.If treated with care and properly assembled it is perfectly suitable for use at home and is reasonably priced.

Er tut das was er soll. Papierkram in Hängeregistern aufbewahren. Sieht gut aus. Allerdings war der Aufbau sehr schwierig. Die Teile passen sehr stramm zusammen, Millimeterarbeit. Öffnen und Schließen ist bis jetzt noch etwas schwergängig. Ich hoffe das schleift sich ein. Ich würde ihn aber wieder kaufen. Für den normalen Haushalt reicht einer davon völlig aus.

This product had so many pieces and the instructions were not the best, BUT we got through it and I am so impressed with how it functions and the space that it takes up.The draws run smoothly and the quality of finish is really good. It also looks like a quality product.I think there should be a solution for stopping the papers (if using A4 format) that are being filed slipping out into the void, I used the empty box from the hanging files.There were a few slight dents and a small broken lug, but it didn’t stop or hinder the assembly.Despite the set up time, about 2 hours, I think this is good value for money and I’m really happy with it.

Just what 'the doctor' ordered and fortunately I have a savvy son-in-law who was able to assemble it ! The assembly instructions were made easier by the parts having identifying letters to match the very good assembly instructions.

Der Schrank mit drei Schubladen für Hängeregister ist super schnell und problemlos aufgebaut. Steht stabil und sauber da. Spaltmaße nicht perfekt aber im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Habe drei bestellt, waren alle in einer gleich guten Qualität.
