It charges the battery from USB and works just find from a car usb charger.Does what it needs to.I have not noticed any increase in charging time or any batteries getting warm over the original charger.

Overall I liked this charger since it is an usb charger and you can then adapt and charge easily when travelling...it does not take much space and it has a useful led indicator.The only concern is that the led indicator does not tell you the level of charge but only if it is charging or not, it would have been better to know the actual level of charge of the battery...

Ideal for charging my wife's camera batteries. Good to take travelling as it is small and neat. Quite a fast charge as well
